This iconic cocktail, which originated in the 19th century in the town of Daiquiri, Cuba, gained fame in renowned bars such as Bar Floridita, where it was savoured by Ernest Hemingway (in the form of the Papa Doble) and The Daiquiri Lounge in Washington, D.C.
